He can smell the dead from miles away. He circles in the air, dark wings blocking out the sun. He descends to dine on the fallen.
It was so nice of this turkey vulture to take time from his dinner to pose for a portrait and show off his awesome facial markings. Turkey vultures help keep the forests clean, and their great sense of smell helps other scavengers find food just by following them. Now that's a cool bird!
